A significant reduction in the efficiency of pesticide extraction was observed with above 15% ethanol. Above this value to alcohol content, all optimization and validation tests of the analytical meth- od for standard solutions of pesticides prepared in ethanol have to be performed, according to the alcoholic content of the drink to which the method will be applied. In addition, for the alcoholic solution with 40% ethanol, there was a significant loss of the microdrop during the extraction procedure, as well as a solubilization of part of the extraction solvent and, therefore, a decrease in the size and volume of the drop.
Tests performed for pesticides analysis using extraction procedure by SPME showed that there was a decrease of the analytic signal for each pesticide in the presence of ethanol in the extraction solution
