Linear correlations between the two measurement systems for assessing gross pneumonic lesions were examined using Pearson’s correlation test using transformed data, while correlations between the mean M. hyopneumoniae DNA concentrations in lung and abdominal tissue samples in individuals were
examined assuming a non-normal distribution in Spearman’s rank order correlation test. Results were considered significantly different at P-values < 0.05.
