The initial temperaturewas set at the pre-assigned point (±1 C)
as and run at the appropriate conditions. The procedure for setting
initial temperature was as follows: the solution was ohmically
preheated without tomatoes until the desired initial temperature
was reached. Thereafter, the tomato was immersed, and ohmic
treatment was applied. For studies on multiple tomato numbers,
cherry tomatoes were used, since more than one tomato could not
