Comment:nice work. I think the key to overcoming these disadvantages is morderacy. if we can control ourselves n control how much time n energy we spend on facebook, then we can stick to the good uses alone n all is well. I as an individual, I use Facebook to promote my business and its really working for me. namaste **wink**
I fear that history will repeat itself again. As we discover something powerful, we become less responsible and more self-motivated towards our own goals. To be able to reach out to a single person a thousand miles away a century ago would’ve been God-like in its essence. Yet to have the same ability today with hundreds or thousands? My wish would be to leave Pandora in her box until we were ready to match its quick evolution but I understand that as a society today we embrace progression through trial and error. That is how we have always done it and that is how it will always be done. This is how we have always behaved. Who is the monkey now? One of our legacies of this age is that our greatest advancements have mainly been achieved in times of war. God help us if we should discover that these advancements could have been achieved in times of peace, together. The lives lost, facebook technology could never bring back AND the lesson is still not learnt. We still behave like a monkey in a new suit with a smart phone.
Facebook to me? It’s another brand new toy for us children to play with again…until another bigger and more sparkling toy comes along :)
I swear by facebook when it comes to social networking. I don’t think any other has caught up with it. Facebook is growing daily and the number of people who use it is just awesome. Facebook alone is enough for online marketing. the problem however is its inability to limit age.
Facebook is, without a doubt, the most prolific and well-known social media the world has ever seen. One cannot feign ignorance of the social impact that Facebook has on the world. However, this powerful social network giant also works like a double-edged sword. For an online business, good word-of-mouth, eespecially on Facebook platform, does wonders for one’s business; vice versa. Respect it and it will respect you. ‘Nuff said. ;)
90% of people on facebook are wasting their time and the other 10% are companies promoting their products , in fact facebook great tool for promoting and businesses , but if you seek well in it , you will find too much disgusting and mimicry of people who are trying to juice themselves to be a rock star, people have nothing to do only updating a pathetic status and silly pictures with every moment they do, come on wake up people.
