Strategies[edit | edit source]
It should be noted that only players with very good equipment should attempt the Skeletal Army. The Skeletal Army is incredibly difficult to do alone. It is recommended to fight the Skeletal Army with a group of players. If a player is fighting the army solo, extra precautions should be taken to be able to survive. It is recommended to bring several methods of healing for a solo attempt.
When fighting the Skeletal Army, players should highly consider bringing a Rejuvenation Staff. This will allow players to heal throughout the fight without the need of stacking healing potions. A Tablet of Regeneration is also extremely helpful due to the massively increased health regeneration.
It is advised that players bring equipment enchanted with projectile protection, in order to reduce the damage from the Skeleman. Due to the fact that there are no effects besides attack damage (no explosions, poison, fire etc.) it is recommended that players bring armor that will give them a tactical advantage, such as Speed Armor or Alacrity Armor.
For weaponry, it is recommended to bring melee weapons as well as range weapons. In the arena there are many good places to utilize a ranged weapon. Melee weapons should be brought because it is possible that a player will run out of ammunition during the fight. Weapons that hit multiple enemies are extremely helpful when fighting the Skeletal Army.
Skelepigs[edit | edit source]
Skelepigs are the easiest mobs within the Skeletal Army. Skelepigs do not have any special features except for slightly enhanced movement speed. It is recommended to focus on the Skelepigs at the end of any wave, after all alternative creatures are dead.
Skele-Hoppers[edit | edit source]
Skele-Hoppers are the mid-difficulty creature in the Skeletal Army. Skele-Hoppers will jump around while dealing decent amounts of damage. Skele-Hoppers are a mid level priority and should only be focused when threatening a player.
Skeleman[edit | edit source]
Skelemen are the ranged creatures within the Skeletal Army. Skelemen are the most dangerous creatures in the army due to the fact that they can group up on a player and deal large amounts of damage from a distance. Skelemen should be the top priority for being killed.
Skeletron[edit | edit source]
Skeletron is a very dangerous end wave boss. Although Skeletron does not possess any special abilities, Skeletron has the ability to hit extremely high. If not properly equipped, this hit can easily kill a player alone. Skeletron should be fought with ranged attacks due to the fact he only uses melee attacks and does not use any sort of ranged protection. Skeletron is immune to knockback which means that weapons that are knockback focused are far less effective.
