relationship such as this is highly significant in agronomic terms as
it affects crop choice and the probability of obtaining high
efficiency levels form a phytoremediation system. If a CW system is
designed only to ensure greater quantities of treated wastewater at
the outflow, we need to seek a species with low ETcand low WUE
rates. If, however, our CW system is multifunctional, and we are
also interested in the production of biomass as a by-product, we
