Jaruwon - is furthest from our home since it is near watcharaphon area, but was highly recommended by my sister in law. I loved the fact that it is a small size school and that nursery and kindergarten had separate play area on the first floor. I also love the fact that the children have library time outside of the classroom and the dining room is outside. After all who wants to be cooped up in the same room all day right? Eventhough the bathroom at the back of the class and the dining was a little smelly (not to mention the old dirty plastic table cloth), I was willing to overlook these hygiene issues because of the fact that the school had a nice area for the nursery kids. Even the kindergarten had native English speaking teachers in every classroom. The teachers told me they stay in the classroom all day. However when we walked passed kindergarten room what I saw really shocked me and I wow never to send my child to this school no matter how many good reviews I read about it.
3.1 I saw the children sitting in a circle with the English teacher reading to them. A little boy playfully reached out his hand to touch the book and instead of letting him, the teacher pulled back and (air) back slapped the boy with the book. I was a little shocked at first but I reasoned to myself that he maybe just playing. No matter, I may have misunderstood, so we walked on.
3.2 When we walked passed this same class again, the students were filing out of the class to go outside. For some reason my eyes glanced inside the classroom and to the back where the bathroom is located. What I saw made me want to scream. I saw the same English teacher peeing in the children's hand wash basin. He had not even bother to close the door while he was going about his business. There was also a little boy in the bathroom with him. To me this is unforgivable. I would not want my little girl to be exposed to an ill mannered teacher such as him.
