Dear Mr and Mrs Sinsuntites,
I am writing to inform you that Boat has not been meeting the standards we expect of a Bromsgrove student. Unfortunately his punctuality has not improved to the level expected and his attitude in his lessons has been raised as a cause for concern. I have discussed this matter with him at length and hope to see some significant improvements. He arrived on time today and I was pleased to see he seems to have taken our discussion to heart.
However, he has also been issued reports which he has failed to complete. The first of these, for his punctuality, was lost by Boat. The second report he was issued, to be signed by his teachers in his lessons, was not completed correctly. He is now on his third day of reports.
It is important that Boat has his report checked at home as well as in school as we use this as a monitoring document and to provide Boat with an opportunity to show everyone that he can meet the expectations we have of him.
If Boat is unable to complete his report over the next 3 days without any significant difficulty we will need to have a closer look at what can be done to aid him in this crucial examination year.
Please rest assured that we are working hard to ensure that Boat understands the need to raise his effort in school and I hope I can look forward to your support in ensuring he is motivated to succeed.
Best regards,
Ross Young
