In this paper, we considered the interview framework to elicit the contradictions of actors’ conceptions about the evolution state of the process under improvement. The framework introduces general practical questions which are independent of domain specific knowledge. It can be used as such in semi structured interview or it can be supplemented with domain specific knowledge to make interview more structured. Two main types of question patterns were introduced. Firstly, the general basic questions were proposed to orient the interview. These questions were derived from the components of Basic Modelling Situation. Secondly the main question set, the process feature related questions, were proposed to assess the evolution state of the process. For each five process feature three questions were proposed: the amount of the feature, the change of the process feature compared with past and vision about the change of the process feature in the near future. We also proposed the ordinal rating scale and interpretations for answers to the questions about process features. To elicit the contradictions of actors’ conceptions about the evolution state of the process, we suggested using a graphical presentation to enable the comparison of the results of interviews.
