In a study conducted by Harter et al. (2002) , they found
corrected correlations of engagement to a composite of
business unit performance ranging from 0.22 to 0.64. They
concluded that work engagement, as measured by the Gallup
Workplace Audit, links closely with all the aspects of
organizations and various outcome measures, such as
customer satisfaction and loyalty, profitability, and low
turnover. Results similar to those of Harter et al. (2002) were
reported by Salanova, Agut, and Peiro (2005)
