Support activities will focus in the following areas:
• Proofreading, editing, and formatting for all document types.
• Researching, assimilating, and/or conveying technical material and complex subject matter in a concise and effective manner that is understandable to the average reader.
• Reviewing and verifying policies and procedures for clarity, accuracy, format, and consistency, and making recommendations on length, organization, and tone.
• Following specific publishing requirements and applying industry standards such as the GPO Style Manual and the Chicago Manual of Style.
• Making recommendations for and implementing format changes where necessary.
• Interfacing with a variety of subject matter experts at various levels of management.
• Following documents through the approval and revision process to ensure final delivery.
