Provide the minimum amount of data to meet your user’s needs. This
is to keep the layout as simple as possible. If your data is available in multiple units (for example, in centimeters and inches), show only one unit at a time and allow users to change to the other. It may be possible to only mention the unit in the column or row title—this will reduce visual “noise” within the data. Consider providing a link to more complex data if you think a significant minority of your users will find it useful.
