and common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) yielded 20–38% vetch in the biomass at termination in
central Spain [15], whereas a 40:60 seeding mixture of rye and vetch in coastal California
yielded 1–30% vetch in the biomass [29], and a 50:50 rye-hairy vetch seeding mixture in western Washington produced 5–22% vetch in the biomass [10].
