The EIS spectrum will show a high phase angle and an increasing
impedance at high frequencies (>10 kHz). The phase angle will
drop in the medium frequency range, similar to the pore resistance
model. However, the phase angle will increase again to a maximum
of typically 60–70◦, and possibly decrease again. The Nyquist graph
shows a semi-circle preceding the lower frequency terms.
The minimum in the medium frequency range is a strong characteristic
when assigning data to this model.
