It's so time consuming in a world of multitasking. In a world where we text while we drive and eat while we work, social networking sites are adding more ways to distract us from being productive society members. Studies show that multitasking does not produce as good of a result as solely dedicating oneself to a project. Yet, I can't even begin to count the number of times I've been in a meeting and I see people on their iPhones tweeting or updating their Facebook. These people aren't interested in collaborating on this project, they are waiting to see the replies to their last posts. In addition, if they would spend even half the amount of time on work as they do tweeting, they may actually get something accomplished.
