The
relative expression of SCARB1 in SF was higher in the VE10d group than
in the VE30d group. In LT muscle, the same effect was observed although
there was no significant difference; the VE10d and VE30d groups tended
to be higher than the C group. SCARB1 has been involved in cells'
α-tocopherol intake, and Major et al. (2011) also observed a significant
association between a common variant in SCARB1 (rs11057830) and
circulating α-tocopherol levels in humans.
