3.1. Propagation
In this paper, time during diffusion is assumed to be a continuity of “period.” First, 2.5%4, or some 250, initial adopters are randomly chosen. Initial adopters chosen at period 0 propagate information to their neighbors, and the probability of neighbors to acknowledge is proportional to the intimacy between the two entities. This process of propagation is the word-of-mouth communication in the diffusion process referred above. The probability of propagating from entity i to entity j is described as:
