A leading manufacturer of electronic monitoring, environmental and surveillance communication systems is expanding its presence in the UK. Providing intelligent real-time data monitoring system solutions across a range of industry sectors, our client supports their customers with real-time, live data monitoring and surveillance and measurement information. The monitoring and surveillance systems provide a secure environment for storage of products in distribution centres, warehouses or in transit. As a result of business expansion, they now wish to recruit an accomplished and professional Technical Sales Engineer.
The Role
Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, the Regional Technical Sales Engineer will take a leading role in the growth of the UK business. You will generate enquiries from a variety of sales channels and lead business development through the identification of new customers and the acquisition of repeat business from existing customers. Creating bespoke data monitoring system equipment specifications and technical sales solutions you will work with monitoring and surveillance system installers and system integrators. Through your knowledge of application engineering you will identify, target and acquire profitable sales accounts and clients across a range of industrial sector supply chains.
The Person
Educated in a mechanical engineering or electronic engineering discipline, you will possess a demonstrable record of selling integrated monitoring or surveillance systems or data acquisition communication systems. Your experience will include the preparation of sales quotations, creating integrated system specifications and working with system installers and integrators. You will be accomplished in presenting technical engineering solutions to customers. Additionally, you will be adept in upselling product capability and technology and effectively negotiating and closing sales. Ideally, your sales management experience to date will enable you to work within regulated industrial sectors.
