Size fractionation revealed
that the majority of vitamin B1 uptake in the non-bloom and bloom
water occurred in the 60%, Suppl. Table 1). In
contrast, with two exceptions (1 and 3 September 2009, Fig. 6C)
vitamin B12 utilization was 2–10 times higher (p < 0.05) within
blooms compared to non-bloom communities, averaging 45.7 9.95
and 7.91 1.49 pmol L1 d1, respectively (Fig. 6C).
