Oh, I already ate, so don't worry about me." She reassured me again.
Five minute later, a waitress brought our commands.
"Itadakimasu!" I said as I dug into the sandwich. Sadly, this one didn't taste delicious… I don't know why… it is supposed though… my month feels so bitter.
"H-Honoka? What's wrong?" Maki asked with a caring expression as she stated I took a moment before eating again. "Does it taste bad?"
"No… It's nothing… I was just thinking of something…" I answered trying to avoid the question.
As I lifted my head once again, I realized Maki has already finished her drink. She wore a cute orange dress and wore a white headband. That outfit looks like a nurse's, but in a more childish way.
"Maybe that's the helper's special outfit…" I thought to myself.
I quickly finished my sandwich and we exited the cafeteria.
"So, where do you want to go?" Asked my red-haired friend.
"I don't know… Outside… Maybe…" I answered not sure of what I just said.
"It's settled, then! Let's go to the garden!" She proposed, giving her heartwarming smile.
We then headed to the door from behind. Maki was leading the way and I followed her.
"You sure do know a lot about this place…" I stated out.
"N-Not really… It's just I spent many time here, so…" She was blushing while answering.
After some few other steps, we came to a huge glass door and exited the building. We were now at a small garden with some pineapple tree surrounding the hospital, some grass on some spot, some pretty white flower and a bit tree in the center of all that landscape.
"Honoka?" Maki asked while pointing at that garden.
"Let's enjoy that day, then!" I answered.
