Surin Beach has a BIG problem with filthy water being discharged onto the beach and into the ocean, and it isn't going to get better. Disgusting black water, most of which is discharged from restaurants lining the beach road. In the western world, actions like this would result in fines of $1,000's per day, but not here (Clean Water Act violations in the United States can be up to $25,000/day). Here, it is business as usual, and will ultimately damage tourism. If people know this was happening, why would they want to come here? Read the postings for the pictures.
