The current synthetic protocol exploits the concerted oxidation/
reduction reactions of H2O2 for the fabrication of AgNPls from the
existing AgNSs. By keeping the concentration of H2O2 sufficiently
low in order to minimize the catalytic decomposition of H2O2, a
kinetic-controlled growth of AgNPls could be achieved. A real-time
structural transformation of AgNSs to AgNPls upon an addition of
H2O2 was investigated through the time-dependent UVevisible
