Several studies indicate a correlation between
satisfaction with information provided and overall
patient satisfaction with the service (Johansson
et al., 2002; Hepner et al., 2004; Flynn, 2005; Pakdil
and Harwood, 2005). This study also found that
patients who were satisfied with the information
provided were more likely to be satisfied with the
overall care in the POAC emphasising the value of
this aspect of care.
