There were no significant differences in pregnancy rates
between the insemination techniques (Table 4). The pregnancy
rates were slightly higher when 120 106 sperm
were used for LAI. However, the pregnancy rates did not
significantly differ between the two tested sperm numbers.
Furthermore, pregnancy rates were not significantly different
between the single- and double-horn inseminations.
For the unilateral LAIs, semen deposition into the uterine
horn ipsilateral to the Graafian follicle did not significantly
improve the pregnancy rate compared with random
insemination.
