Biotin-labeled PCR products specifi cally hybridized to the
oligoprobes are visualized by chemiluminescence; streptavidinhorseradish
peroxidase (HRP) conjugate binds to the biotinlabeled
amplicons and, after washing, bound conjugate acts on a
chemiluminescent substrate (e.g., ECL or SuperSignal West Dura)
to produce light that can be captured using an autoradiography
fi lm.
