Thank you very much.
I just want to confirm one point with you. I recently read on the internet that foreigners must be earning at least 50000 baht per month to get a work permit, and K. Manop also raised this point. Is this in fact a requirement? My concern is that the Form of Employment Certification states that my monthly income is 33000 baht, and the Attachment to my Consulting Agreement states that my “minimum income” will be 33000 baht per month – do you think this will be a problem? The Attachment does say that I can get additional income from teaching and from sharing fees received from clients for my work, but this will vary from month to month and is not fixed. Khun Manop said we might have to state a higher minimum income for these documents just for the purpose of submission of these documents to the Thai Embassy, but he was also not sure if this is actually a current requirement under the regulations.
Sorry to bother you but could you please check this point with the Thai Embassy in Vientiane and with the partners? Then if they and you think it necessary perhaps you could get them to sign a new Form of Employment Certification and Attachment to the Consulting Agreement and scan and send that to me along with the letter that you will get from the Labor Department.
Thank you very much, in advance, for your help.
