On the other hand, the most abundant
compound in peanut oil (D) was C31, and the abundance of
the other n-alkanes was lower than observed in the other vegetable
oils. Finally, for corn and sunflower oils (E and F), the most
abundant n-alkane was C31 and C29, respectively. The differences
observed in oil fingerprints were enhanced when chemometric
analysis of the data was performed.
