The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship of innovative management and the teaching effectiveness of the kindergartens awarded Excellent Teacher Award by Ministry of Education. The study adopted questionnaire survey method and aimed at teachers in the kindergartens having awarded gold and silver medal of Excellent Teacher Award in Taiwan area. The self-designed questionnaires as the research tool were sent to 329 teachers in the 44 kindergartens. 329 questionnaires were delivered and 302 copies were recycled, and thus the recycling rate reached to 91.8%. Among these, 282 valid questionnaires were collected, and thus the questionnaire effeciency rate reached to 85.7%. The study results are as follows: 1. Teachers awarded Excellent Teacher Award perceived that the current situation of innovative management and teaching effectiveness was very good. 2. Different background variables of kindergartens awarded Excellent Teacher Awards caused significant difference on innovative management and teaching effectiveness. 3. The relationship between innovative management and teaching effectiveness in kindergartens awarded Excellent Teacher Award reached medium-high level of positive correlation
