This co-operative education’s project was made in order to improve the quality of selecting bone’s size of KUROBUT SHOULDER STEAK. The study was found that the process of selecting pork shoulder was the staffs used the old means by using their visuality. This process was affected on the correctness of selection which was shown at 94.04 ± 1.84%. The students were interested in inventing equipment to help staffs to select the pork shoulder and it was changed the correctness of selection which was shown at 100 ± 0%. The correctness of selecting was increased 5.96%. Moreover, the pork which passed the standard selection increased 54.93 ± 2.30% because of the invented equipment. The pork passed the standard selection increased 9.04% from the past. Therefore, using this invented equipment not only helped to increase correctness but also helped to decrease loss of good pork from selecting process. It also did not decrease ability of selecting products.
