3.2. Lysozyme activity
The serum lysozyme activity of fish fed diet containing 108 and
1010 cfu g1 L. plantarum VSG3 were significantly higher than those
of fish fed the control diet and 106 cfu g1 VSG3 supplemented diet
after 30 days of feeding (Table 2). After 60 days of feeding, the
serum lysozyme activities of fish fed the diet containing 106, 108,
and 1010 cfu g1 VSG3 were significantly higher than those of fish
fed the control diet (8.56%, 23.55% and 17.41% increase in activity
over that of control group, respectively). A slight decline in serum
lysozyme activity was observed at higher level of VSG3
(1010 cfu g1) supplementation after 60 days of feeding
