Table 2 summarizes the associations between four student
characteristics and the level of bias in their self-assessments.
Men tended to overestimate their clinical skills, and their bias
in communications and interpersonal skills was significantly
(P < 0.01) higher than women. Students aged >26 y tended to
provide the most accurate self-assessments as reflected by
their bias index scores being close to 0 for all domains.
