Polyphenol content in Mango peel extract was determined by using the method
described by Hag et al. (2002). The total polyphenols content in the extract was expressed
as gallic acid equivalents (GAE). Carotenoid content in peel extract was
determined after saponification using the method as described by Litchenthaler
(1987). Vitamin E content was determined according to the method described by
Rao et al. (2007). a-Tocoferol was used as a standard to estimate total vitamin E
content.
