Currently, however, no low- or middle-income country has adopted or, to our knowledge,
formally evaluated a childhood influenza vaccination policy. We aimed to evaluate whether
such a policy could be cost-effective in a tropical middle-income country, using detailed epidemiological
and cost data from Thailand to inform our analysis. Our work also provides a coherent
framework (and computer code) that can be used to allow the analysis to be repeated in
other low- and middle-income countries.
