Commission Regulation (EC) No 466/2001 of 8 March
2001 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in
foodstuffs (2) has been amended substantially many
times. It is necessary to amend again maximum levels
for certain contaminants to take into account new information
and developments in Codex Alimentarius. At the
same time, the text should, where appropriate, be
clarified. Regulation (EC) No 466/2001 should therefore
be replaced.
