Number of Weekly Hours Devoted by Teen on the Internet for Entertainment
To know if the expertise can be explained by the number of weekly hours devoted by the
teen on the Internet for entertainment, we analyze the variance. The results suggest
that teenagers who spent more hours on the Internet for entertainment were more likely
to be perceived as an Internet expert (perception of adolescents F-value = 76.981,
p-value = 0.00; perception of parents: F-value = 47.300, p-value = 0.00) (Table 3). In
both the cases, p < 0.05, so we can say that the indicator explains the net adolescent’
expertise.
