First of all, I'd like to tell you that the past three days have been awesome! You guys really blew me away (to blow someone away = to be extremely impressed) especially yesterday session on "keeping cool". I was inspired by your posts. I even LOLed (laugh-out-loud) on some extra funny ones. :D
For the fourth installment of "Daily Does of English", I'd like to hear about your experience. What was it like the first time you've talked to a foreigner? I'll go first ...
When I was in M.3, I joined an English summer camp in Pattaya. The first assignment was to interview a foreigner. Any foreigner. So I went out on the street of Pattaya and spotted this very gorgeous looking man. I gathered my nerve to talk to him, explained that I was doing an interview assignment, and asked him where he was from. This tall and handsome man replied that he was from Jordan. He was really nice and funny. I knew right then and there and I wanted to learn more English so I could open up my world and get to know more people.
OK. Now.. your turn. ;)
Don't forget to write down your ID on your post.
