In order to develop a curriculum model the content of a subject needs to be identified. However, ICT can be subject, and it can be a tool to use to teach other subjects, or to access information, communicate with others.Therefore, ICT is not a well-defined subject domain. In US public schools, three approaches to integration of ICT into curriculum are commonly used in middle and high schools:

x across the curriculum
x a mixture of course and cross-curricular work
