Synchronized beef heifers were in estrus for
8 to 15 h and received 27 to 50 mounts per estrus when
monitored continuously with HeatWatch (Stevenson et
al., 1996; Lemaster et al., 1999; Rae et al., 1999), and
beef cows were in estrus for 16 h and received 47 mounts
(White et al., 2002).
