The relation between self-talk and athlete self-efficacy also is not known yet and how it affects athletes’ performance.
Therefore, the aim of the present study was to identify the effect of positive self-talk for technical instruction in learning the volleyball service skill and the improvement of volleyball athletes’ self- efficacy.
On the basis of the research literature it was hypothesized that self-talk would improve volleyball service skill learning and also athletes’ self–efficacy.
