Students worked in pairs over the course of two,
one-hour class periods to create a video using Windows Live
Movie Maker (a free, downloadable program; see “On the
web”). On the third day, each pair presented their PSA to
the class, and we discussed the strengths and weaknesses
of each argument and its use of imagery and music. The
following describes how I used elements of the frameworks
to approach this task. (Note: We addressed each way of
knowing science as it arose.)
