The king sketched the designs for the villa, which consists of sixteen teak buildings raised by concrete pillars and linked together by a series of walkways. Construction took place during the early 1920’s, and was overseen by Italian architect Ercole Manfredi. Entrance fee is 30 Baht. Photographs inside the buildings are not allowed.
