In this paper, we use Lyapunov optimization for efficient EV charging with renewable energy supply. The technique of Lyapunov optimization is initially developed for dynamic control of queueing systems for wireless networks [7], [13], [14]. In [15], the researchers utilize the Lyapunov optimization technique to show that the queuing model naturally fits in the scheduling problem for renewable energy supply and present a simple energy allocation algorithm that does not require prior statistical information and is provably close to optimal.
