Are you a planner? Do you select a destination and then determine the quickest and surest route by which to reach it?

And even an array of possible destinations will finally prove disappointing if the Spirit does not bless your way. So, with each step you take, open your mind to God. Walk the life path that is to be yours with full awareness and intention, and your feet will fall on firm ground.

Take another step, and then another, thinking of nothing else. Keep your stride deliberate. If you lose mindfulness, stop where you are, refocus your intention, and step out once again. Continue in this manner for at least ten minutes. Let your walking be a parable of your life, a reminder of how to move ahead on your journey with faithful mind, soul, and heart.
