Tomljenovic, Larsson, and Faulkner (2001) analyzed the same festival as
Faulkner et al. (1999) in Sweden, but were more interested in the relationship
between the motivations to attend, past visitation, and overall satisfaction
with the festival. They claimed that there were four generic festival motivation
dimensions: to socializes, to party, to experience novelty and excitement, and
to enjoy the festival program.
