I was on a short layover near LAX right next to this restaurant so decided to try out the lunch special. Upon entering I was greeted with smiles and good customer service. The place itself is not large and decorated with some Thai artifacts and umbrellas attached to the ceiling. Not a place one would go if you were looking for ambiance.
I ordered the "spicy mint leaves" dish..to go.
I ordered it with no bell peppers but alas there were bell peppers. .strike one.
The spring roll was all batter and no "spring". .strike two
..and the included salad came with some sought of creamy italian dressing as opposed to a myriad of available thai sauces out there.
Now to the main course bell peppers not withstanding. .it had no flavor of mint whatsoever. I had asked for it spicy..but it wasn't. Infact the only flavor besides the bell peppers was beef juice and oil. Strike three. Tasted like fajitas.
All in all a very disappointing experience considering I was looking forward to some good thai as I had stayed at this hotel last week and opted for taco bell across the street. I should have gone back to taco bell for a less greasy meal. I would not recommend.
