Needing others to reach recovery
“So my point of recovery was the fact of, I need to talk to, to people, and let them, or someone, and say, you know, is this normal, is this not normal” (Cindy). Although Cindy knew she was not coping With the demands of being a new mom even before she returned to work she was hesitant to admit to herself she needed help. I was so lost I didn’t care who was treating me. I just wanted somebody that understood. Later in the day I’d try I could change the baby. I could do that. I could change her, you know and they were right here. In case I freaked Bea sensed she needed others around to guide and protect her and her daughtet.
