On the prevention principles, the NACS Phase II stresses on the critical importance of raising awareness and intuition of the detrimental effects of corruption together with inculcation of moral conscience and righteous values into all target groups of the society, especially, children and youths. Moreover, the NACS underlines vital role of the public sector agencies in ensuring transparency and integrity in their operation and rendering services to their clients by complying with good governance principles and code of ethics. In this regard, an innovative tool called the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) was developed and introduced by the NACC for evaluating the degree of success of all public sector organisations. The evaluation result will make it possible for public agencies under review to realize their inner strengths and weaknesses in respective areas such as transparency, accountability and integrity as well as recommendations for further developments.
