With only two out of 35 trekking routes affected by the recent earthquakes, trekking in Nepal is not only safe, but one of the most breathtaking experiences in all of Asia. Routes go from easy to moderate to the more difficult. There really is something for everyone. Beginners could start with the seven-day Annapurna foothills circuits, peaking at 3,200m with wonderful views on a clear day of up to 10 peaks from Poonhill, while the more adventurous traveller could take the slightly longer two-week trek to A.B.C (Annapurna Base Camp) or E.V.C (Everest Base Camp). The adventure groups are more than happy to cater to your needs should you have more or less time to explore the expansive Himalayas.
