It is the government's job to protect it's country's institutions against an obviously miniscule minority of outlaw mobsters for the good of the exponentially greater majority that legally elected them into office and charged them with this duty. Suthep and his mob became nothing more than criminals when they abandoned peaceful and non destructive means of protesting. It is people (Suthep) who are desperate because they are losing that take such measures. The military, taking a neutral stance, is pretty much saying that it isn't bound by the constitution to serve the constitutional obligations required of it. Not good.
