Support the DD and Drive the non-DD, Counter development and Costing process from receipt of material briefs or counter requirement to production delivery for assigned products, with an emphasis on quality product engineering and timely completion of all tasks, including sampling and buy ready in accordance with the operating calendars.
Work with suppliers on the innovation and build up the platform to share and align business needs and supplier capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with suppliers of the innovation and build up the platform to share the information to the Creation Centres.
Collaborate closely with the various stakeholders - Creation Centres, LO, T1, T2, and various other parties - to support the DD and drive the non-DD and Counter development.
Support/drive the development process ensuring workable fabric and trims are created which address desired function, cosmetics, cost, market material and manufacturability, including checking for quality and adherence to standards providing options and recommendations to make improvements in the sample process.
Discuss prices with T2s throughout the development process and/or Costing meeting to work towards a cost optimized product. Ensure all cost sheets are complete, accurate and on time.
Ensure that all sample orders are produced accurately, and are shipped on time.
Drive effective problem solving and continuous improvement.
Ensure timely resolution of development issues working collaboratively with apparel merchandising teams, planning, costing and technical services teams etc. in order to reach quality and deliver objectives.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of the data management systems where applicable.
Manage team and actively coach and develop them to ensure performance excellence and developmental growth.

Strong ability to work with Product Data Management Systems and basic MS Office skills
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year college or university degree
At least 5 years of related work experience in the apparel industry in a technical capacity
